Abstract
The present study was carried out in order to emphasize the difficulties experienced by Classical Western Music-Based Voice Educator academicians while managing the vocal training process of Turkish Music performers -in institutions where the repertoire is taught, where they were not trained- and to create a source for basic information that should be known in this field. While the researcher was going through the same process and trying to solve these problems, the researcher was able to reach a limited number of sources and thought that it was important to conduct a study in this area. When we look at the studies on the field, it has been determined that the necessity of establishing a Turkish Music singing school, the voice training lessons of the conservatories are taught with methods that differ on the basis of the instructor, and there is no inter-institutional education-training union.
In line with these thoughts, literature was scanned and scientific publications were reached in this study through document analysis. The data obtained from the sources were analyzed and analyzed by descriptive analysis method, and field studies applied by the researcher in her own lessons were also included in line with the obtained results. Turkish Music sound system, pitch names in Turkish Music, tunning in Turkish Music, decision pitchs of simple, decimated and composite makams in Turkish Music and their equivalents in the piano are also included. The benefits of the microtonal exercises that the researcher applied to Turkish Classical Music and Turkish Folk Music students in his own vocal training lessons and wrote in line with the needs, and students' opinions about these practices were also stated.
