An Overview of Problems for Cinema Education in Turkey

Türkiye'de Sinema Eğitimine Genel Bir Bakış
Günümüzde teknoloji çok hızlı ilerlemekte ve ihtiyaçlar sürekli değişim göstermektedir. Dolayısıyla ülkemizde sinema eğitiminin ne tür sorunları ve ihtiyaçları olduğu, çok yönlü olarak tartışmak gerekmektedir. Araştırmada literatür taraması metodu kullanılmıştır. Yükseköğretim sisteminin yapısı, öğrencilerin seçimi, uygulama eksikleri, ders programları gibi konularda, sinema eğitiminde ne gibi değişiklikler yapılması gerektiği tartışılmıştır. Çalışma sonunda, radyo, televizyon ve sinema olarak üç alanın bir arada verildiği iletişim fakültesi bölümlerinin, sinema eğitimi alanında yeterli olmadığı, okulların altyapılarının desteklenmesi gerektiği, sinema televizyon sektörleriyle işbirliği yapılmasının çok önemli olduğu ve okulların branşlaşmaya yönelmeleri gerektiği anlaşılmıştır.

Abstract
Today, technology is moving very fast and needs change constantly. Therefore, it is necessary to discuss in a multifaceted way what kind of problems and needs of cinema education in our country. Literature scanning method was used in the research. The structure of the higher education system, the selection of the students, the lack of practice, the curriculums, and what changes should be made in the cinema education are discussed. By evaluating the obtained findings, it was tried to determine the expectations of the people who gave cinema education and cinema education, and proposals for the solution of the problems were developed academically. According to this, it has been understood that the communication faculty departments in which the three fields are given together as radio, television and cinema are not sufficient in the field of cinema education, that the infrastructures of the schools should be supported, cooperation with the cinema television sectors is very important and schools should be directed towards branching.
