Uc Eteks From Serinhisar District of Denizli Province Abstract

Denizli İli Serinhisar İlçesi Üç Etekleri
Geleneksel kültürümüzün bir parçası olan yöresel giyim, günümüz modası dışında kalan, geçmişten bugüne toplumların kültürünü yansıtan giyim tarzıdır. Bindallı, peştamal, holta, salta, üç etek gibi yöresel giyim elemanları endüstriyel gelişme ve modern yaşantı nedeniyle sürekli değişim içinde olup zamanla unutulmaktadır. Üç parça etekten meydana geldiği için üç etek olarak anılan bu yöresel giysi gerek tarihi devirlerde gerekse günümüzde geleneksel Türk kadın giyiminin en yaygın, en çok kabul gören, özel bir modeli olmuştur. Kaybolmaya yüz tutan yöresel giyim elemanlarını tespit etmek, tanıtmak ve geleceğe taşımak gerekmektedir. Denizli İli Serinhisar İlçesinin yöresel giysilerinden olan üç etek günümüzde düğünlerde giyilmekte ve sandıklarda saklanmaktadır. Serinhisar İlçesinde kadınlar düğünlerde üç eteğin altına, kendi kumaşından beli ve bilekleri boğumlu şalvar, üç eteğin içine saten veya bürümcük kumaştan yapılmış bol, dökümlü göynek giyerler. Üç eteğin beline dokuma kuşak sarılır ve başa tel kırma başörtüsü örtülürken ayağa da yün çorap giyilerek yöreye özgü geleneksel giyim biçimi oluşturmuştur. Yöre kadınlarıyla yapılan karşılıklı görüşmelerle eskiden kullanılmış ve günümüzde kullanılmakta olan üç etekler tespit edilmiştir. Üç eteklerin dikiş özelliklerine göre teknik çizimleri yapılmış, renk, desen, kumaş, biçim, model, süsleme ve kullanım özellikleri incelenerek fotoğrafla belgelenmiştir. Toplamda ulaşılabilen 21 adet üç etek örneğinin 6’sının arşivlenebilecek özellikte olduğu sonucuna varılmış ve detayları makalede anlatılmıştır.

Abstract
A part of our traditional culture, local clothing is style of clothing that reflects, from past to present, the cultures of the societies, out of today’s fashion. Such local pieces of clothing as bindallı, peştemal, holta, salta and üç etek are in constant change and are forgotten in time because of the industrial development and modern life style. Called üç etek as it is composed of three pieces of skirt, this local clothing has been a special piece, both in ancient times and today, that is the most common, the most accepted in Turkish women clothing. It is necessary to detect, introduce, and carry to the future the pieces of clothing that are on the verge of disappearing. Being a piece of local clothing in Serinhisar District, Denizli, üç etek is worn in wedding ceremonies and kept in boxes. In Serinhisar District, women wear şalvar, out of the fabric of üç etek knotted in wrist and waist, underneath üç etek, and they wear, inside üç etek, loose, drapable göynek made of satin or tulle (crimped fabric). Woven belt is wrapped around the waist of üç etek, tel kırma veil covers the head, and wool sock is worn on the feet and in this way traditional local clothing style is formed. During the interviews conducted with local women, üç eteks used in the past and used today were found. In terms of sewing properties, technical drawings of üç eteks were performed, and the properties of colour, pattern, fabric, shape, model and ornament are examined and they were recorded by photographs. Out of the 21 üç etek samples found, it was concluded that 6 of them can be archived and the details were mentioned in the article.
