Our move to the Artsürem Journals Platform and ORCID integration

Dear authors and researchers,

To run our publishing processes more transparently, quickly and securely in line with international standards, we have moved our journal to the Artsürem Journals Platform (journals.artsurem.tr). The journal remains available at https://ulakbilge.com.

With this move, we have enabled ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) integration in our system to increase your academic visibility and to bring your publications together under a single digital identifier. To avoid confusion caused by similar names and to ensure that article metadata are transferred correctly to international databases and to Crossref, it is very important that all our authors connect their ORCID iD to their profile in our system.

How to connect your ORCID iD to your profile

  1. User accounts from the previous system were not transferred to the new platform. If you do not have an account yet, register first using the Register link at the top of the page (https://ulakbilge.com/en/user/register).
  2. Log in with your username and password.
  3. Click your username in the top right corner and select View Profile.
  4. On the Identity tab, click Create or Connect your ORCID iD.
  5. Sign in on the ORCID screen that opens and grant our journal system access.

Once you have granted access, your ORCID iD is added to your profile as authenticated, with the green ORCID icon. For co-authored papers, the corresponding author must enter the other authors’ email addresses correctly during submission; the ORCID authorisation link is sent to these addresses automatically.

Authors who submitted their papers to the previous system will have those papers transferred to the new system once they register as authors. The initial assessment of every paper submitted to the new system will be completed within 3 days.
