Abstract

From Craft to Algorithm in the Ideational Field Struggle: Embodied Wisdom

This study examines the Ideational Field Struggle, triggered by the integration of generative artificial intelligence technologies into art and design practices, through a conceptual analysis framework. Evaluated across historical breaking points, the final stage of technological acceleration in this new paradigm directly shakes humanity's monopoly on ideational production. In the face of this struggle, the research repositions experienced professionals over the age of 35 as the bearers and the epistemic reservoir of national intangible cultural heritage. These professionals represent "Embodied Wisdom" (Tacit Knowledge), a non-codifiable, intuitive, and culturally context-sensitive expertise. The core problem addresses how this profound experience and aesthetic judgment can be systematically preserved and intergenerationally transferred within the digital ecosystem. Designed as a theoretical review, the study contextualizes the current crisis through a comparative-historical literature review and relates the definitions of tacit knowledge and cultural heritage through conceptual analysis. The analysis argues that systems trained on explicit data carry a risk of aesthetic averaging and algorithmic homogenization. The irreplaceable value of industry professionals lies precisely in this wisdom, which algorithms cannot encode. Consequently, the ongoing process indicates a mandatory radical transformation rather than occupational obsolescence. In this context, the study proposes evaluating professionals beyond their mere producer identity, repositioning them as a "Curatorial Intelligence" that filters infinite algorithmic options and makes aesthetic decisions. To institutionalize this transformation, the Heritage Formulas model is proposed. Comprising systematic documentation and intergenerational transfer phases, this structure aims to build a resilient cultural memory to be referenced during potential algorithmic crises.
