Sanatın Kimliği, Kimliğin Sanatı

İçinde bulunduğumuz farklı değişkenler; mekan, zaman, konum kimliğimizin tanımlanmasında belirleyici olduğu gibi toplumları oluşturan “biz”de toplum kimliklerinin kurgulanmasında belirleyicidir. Bu anlamıyla bu kavram psikolojiden sosyolojiye birçok disiplinin güncesine aldığı önemli konulardan birisidir. Kimlik kavramı temel olarak kendimizi ve diğerlerinin bizi nasıl tanımladığı ile ilgilidir. Fakat masum görünen tanımlamalar toplumların karmaşık güç ilişkileri tarafından kimi zaman içeride, kimi zaman dışarıda tutulan ve ötelenen kimlik politikalarının çelişkisel yapısına gebedir. Bu açıdan bakıldığında kimliklerin gerçeği yansıttığı ya da yansıtmadığı düşüncesi şüphe götürmez değildir. Sanatın en yalın anlamıyla bir ifade aracı olduğunu düşündüğümüzde; bu ifadenin içinde belirli bağlamlara yerleştirilen kimliğin kendisini de yansıttığını anlayabiliriz. Bu anlamıyla çalışmanın amacı sanatın, kimliği içinde nasıl barındırdığını, bazen işaret edilen kimliği nasıl yücelttiğini, kimi zaman da güçlü olanın kimliği altında madun olanın kimliğini nasıl ötelediğini görmeye çalışmaktır. Bu çalışmada egemen olanın sanatı ile madun olanın sanatının kimlik ile olan ilişkisi incelenmeye çalışılacaktır. Sanat ötekinin kimliğine bürünürken, kimi zaman da egemen olanın kimliği ile ötekinin kimliğini görmezden geldi. Bu bağlamda sanat ve kimlik öteden beri birbirleri ile ilişki içinde olarak birbirlerinin varlıklarını sürdürmeye devam etmiştir. Bu ilişki modernizmden günümüz sanatına incelenmeye çalışılmış ve bu düzlemde üreten sanatçılara yer verilmiştir. Egemen söylemlerin ötelediği çeşitli kimlik yapılanmalarına muhalefet eden sanatçıların üretimleri yoluyla sanata katkıları irdelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bir anlamıyla sanatın ötelediği kimliklerin yine sanat yoluyla görünür kılınması çalışmanın önemli noktalarındandır. Başat kılınan ve büyük harflerle taçlanan kimliklerin sanatına karşı, görmezden gelinen ve ezilen kimliğinin sanatı verili olanın yapı söküme uğratılmasına olanak sağlamıştır. Sanatçı üretim sürecinde ortaya koyduğu yaratımlarında, zaman zaman kendi kimliğini ortaya koymuş, merkeze kimliğini alarak üretimler gerçekleştirmiş, zaman zaman da içinde yaşadığı toplumun kimliğinin çözümlenmesinde görsel bir ansiklopedi işlevinde sayılabilecek üretimlere imza atmıştır.

When we think that art is the simplest means of expression; we can understand that this expression reflects the identity itself in certain contexts. In this sense, the aim of the study is to try to see how art holds it in its identity, sometimes glorifies the pointed identity, and sometimes it delays the identity of the madid under the identity of the powerful. In this study, the relationship between the art of the dominant and the art of the madun will be studied. While art took on the identity of the other, he sometimes ignored the identity of the sovereign and the identity of the other. In this context, art and identity have continued to maintain each other's assets in relation to each other. This relationship has been tried to be examined from modernism to today's art and the artists who produce in this plane are included. It has been tried to examine the contribution of the artists who opposed to the various identity structures that sovereign discourses have added to the art through their production. One of the important points of the study is that the identities that art has shifted are still visible through art. The art of the identities rendered crowned and crowned by capital letters, which were ignored and the art of the oppressed identity, allowed the structure to be demolished.
