Performans Sanatının Gelişiminde Teknolojinin Etkileri

Teknoloji insanlık tarihi boyunca sürekli gelişmiş ve kendini yenilemiştir. İlkel insandan bu güne kadar insanoğlu hayatını daha yaşanabilir kılmak için sürekli bir arayış içinde olmuş, belli dönemlerde büyük keşifler gerçekleştirmiş ve evrim serüvenini devam ettirmiştir. Özellikle Fransız İhtilali ve Endüstri Devrimi ile toplumsal hayatta, bilim ve teknolojide önemli gelişmeler yaşanmış ve hayatı her yönüyle etkilemiştir. Hak ve özgürlük alanlarının genişlemesi, buharlı makinenin ve lokomotifin icadı, atomun parçalanması, yeni fabrikaların kurulması ve insanların bir tüketim toplumu haline gelmesi, yeni tarım aletlerinin geliştirilmesi, telefon ve telgraf gibi yeni iletişim sistemlerinin keşfi bunlardan bazılarıdır. Bu kadar büyük çapta bir izdüşümü olan teknoloji kavramı, sanatı ve sanatçıyı da etkilemiş, yeni sanat formlarının ortaya çıkmasında yardımcı kaynak olmuştur. 20. yüzyılın başlarında iç içe geçmiş birçok akımın aynı zaman aralığında ortaya çıkıp benimsenmesinin arkasında da bu gelişmeler yatmaktadır. Performans sanatı; resim, heykel, dans, tiyatro, müzik, edebiyat gibi disiplinlerin bir arada kullanıldığı insan bedeninin malzemeye dönüştüğü radikal sanat formlarından biridir. Gelişiminde Fütürislerin, Dadaistlerin ve Sürrealistlerin performans benzeri etkinliklerinin payı büyüktür. Performans sanatı kendi evrimini yaşarken teknoloji ile doğal bir etkileşime girmiştir. Sanatçı toplumun bir parçası olarak yaşanan her yeni teknolojik gelişmeden etkileniyordu. Bu teknolojileri günlük hayatında herkes gibi kullanıp inceliyordu. Bu durum ise sanat ve teknoloji etkileşiminin en önemli göstergesiydi. Her geçen gün daha fazla sanatçı performanslarında teknolojik araç gereç veya medya unsurlarını kullanmaya başlıyordu. Teknoloji, performans sanatında çok geniş bir malzeme çeşitliliğine sahiptir. Lazer, projeksiyon, ses, ışık, bilgisayar, led, kamera, fotoğraf, internet, çeşitli mekanikler ve robotikler performans sanatçılarının ilgi alanına girmiştir. Günümüzde ise bu etkileşim dijital teknolojilerin yaygınlaşması ile altın çağını yaşamaktadır.

Performance art is one of the radical forms of Art where the human body is transformed into material where disciplines such as painting,sculpture, dance, theatre music and Lıterature e.t.c are used together. Performance-like activities of futurists, Dadierers and Surrealists have a great share in their development. The art of performing has entered into a natural interaction with technology while experiencing its own evolution. The artist was influenced by every new technological development that took place as part of society. He/she used these technologies in his daily life and studied them like everyone else. This was the most important indicator of the interaction between art and technology. More and more artists started to use technological equipment or media elements in their performances. Technology has a wide variety of materials in performance art. Laser, projection, sound, light, computer, led, camera, photography, internet, various mechanics and robots have entered in the interest field of performance artists. Today, this interaction is experiencing the golden age with the expansion of digital technologies.
