This article examines the approach of social and environmental responsibility in fashion design, focusing on Patagonia as a case study. It explores how sustainability-oriented design can be implemented, from the use of recycled materials to eco-friendly production processes. Patagonia’s innovative methods and business models are analyzed in the context of their role in reducing the environmental impact of the fashion industry. The study evaluates the concept of sustainable fashion from both theoretical and practical perspectives, discussing how these approaches may influence future fashion design processes. The purpose of this study is to thoroughly examine the concept of social and environmental responsibility in fashion design and to analyze Patagonia’s sustainability strategies. The research aims to demonstrate how the use of recycled materials, environmentally conscious production processes, and social responsibility projects set sustainability standards in the fashion sector. Furthermore, it seeks to develop recommendations for other brands based on Patagonia’s leading position in this field.
