The Qajar period, which is considered one of the brightest periods in Iran; It is one of the most studied subjects in field research with its architecture and the tiles used in its architecture. The period in question can be called the period of innovation and transformation in Iranian art and architecture. The cultural, commercial and political relations established with Europe during the 19th century Qajar dynasty caused Western traces to be seen in traditional arts. Iran's social and cultural interaction with the West in this period; It is also reflected in the art of tiles, which is one of its traditional productions, and it is also reflected in the technical and stylistic approaches of the productions in this field. The tile motifs used on the door pediments of the building facades in Shiraz during the Qajar period depicted many subjects with symbolic elements. The motif themes chosen on the building facades generally include historical, mythological, political and religious subjects. The aim of this research is to analyze the content, form and composition features of the tile motifs applied in four important buildings of the Qajar period in Shiraz within the scope of literature review. The result of the research; It shows that the motifs follow a technical and visual system, provide a suitable combination with the façade of the buildings and have common meanings in terms of content.
