With the advent of the new period of industrial civilization, the existential significance of design as an application that alters the interaction between humans and object began to get attention. However, as a multi-layered notion extending from economics to psychology, the new substance it received introduced alternative perspectives and criticisms to design. As a result, it is unavoidable to investigate the notion alongside the economy based on sophisticated technology, socioeconomic connections, political and cultural aspects. Because the network of social forces required to comprehend current design includes a variety of aspects, both material and spiritual, good and bad. Thus, the design itself appears first as an element of progress, then as a powerful factor of destructive power. All types of changes that happen in the world, changes that may be seen in an individual's life, are accomplished via design or with her involvement. This study aimed to rethink the essence of design, the structure of its conceptual foundations, and the dynamics of the problem context of design activities. Design activity is defined as a proper engagement of the individual with the external environment; it aims to attract attention to the difficulties that will be caused by the overlooked wide regions of impact and the encirclement of humankind. The study is founded on the interpretation of data gathered through the literature review approach.
