In today's world that focuses on sustainability globally, sustainable design is also of great importance in the fashion industry. Sustainable design that responds sensitively to the environment aims to reduce environmental impact and the formation of waste materials in sustainable fashion design. One of the most important causes of environmental pollution in recent years is waste. At a time when the world population is increasing and the economy is growing rapidly, textile products are increasing rapidly as a result. This leads to an increase in textile and garment waste due to overproduction and excessive consumption. Especially textile waste materials are harmful to the environment and people too much. In recent years, many designers have adopted the zero-waste fashion design approach to minimize the environmental damage of textile waste and to increase the contribution to the economy. Zero waste fashion design is considered as part of sustainable fashion design. Zero waste fashion design is a popular and new design technique that is used for the production of sustainable garments, with the least waste of fabric in garment production. In the study, the design literature of zero waste fashion was examined and examined in all its aspects, leading fashioners of zero waste fashion design and their work. Sample garment designs and mold experiments were made on the obtained information. The main purpose is; to provide information and awareness about zero waste fashion design in the context of sustainable fashion design. The information obtained is to present zero waste garment design and mold samples in the light. In addition to zero waste design and zero waste garment because of the lack of resources in the form of resources to create the next work. This study in this context; supporting the fashion industry and sustainable techniques and processes to make the world better is important to emphasize the importance of socially and environmentally responsible design in the name of conscious thinking and creativity.
