Rapid changes and developments in information and communication technologies have made internet and new media an important part of social life. In parallel with this change and development, new needs come to mind. One of these needs is 'new media education'. In addition to the education on traditional media, the number of universities that give 'new media education' in the world and Turkey is increasing day by day in order to train qualified personnel who can use new media technologies more effectively and efficiently. Based on these developments, this study has been prepared in order to describe the trends in technological processes and communication faculties of Turkey in terms of new media education and to inform about the job opportunities of graduates of new media department.
