1447167244 DISCIPLINE PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED IN REGIONS TAKING PLACE INTERNAL MIGRATION (ESENYURT SAMPLE)

The general objective of this study is to determine the disciplinary issues encountered in the process of teaching and education in primary schools in the regions where there is internal migration, based on the opinions of the administrators, teachers and students (the example of Esenyurt). Istanbul is the leading city of intense urban migration in our country. This study that conducted in Esenyurt, one of the most popular immigration districts of Istanbul was considered to be resulted with realistic results.
The study was carried out in two steps, including preliminary application and the main application. The preliminary application of the survey was conducted in primary schools in the migration-regions of the City of Istanbul. The main application was conducted in the City of Istanbul with randomly selected 5 primary schools in the Esenyurt District. Data obtained by surveys applied to students, teachers and administrators was tabulated and interpreted using appropriate statistical methods.
According to the results of the study, one of the most important issues in the migration-regions is disciplinary issues. Domestic gangs and drug addiction among school students is emerging as a major discipline problems. In the results of the study, it appears that there are differences between the opinions of students, teachers and administrators, and that these differences are significantly higher in students. In line with these results, suggestions were made for the solution of problems encountered in the process of teaching and learning in primary schools in Esenyurt District.
